I admire Sarah Palin. She gives me hope for the future, and reminds me of the great Jewish heroine Esther.

Humble, reverential and courageous. I hope she becomes the first female president of the United States. I have carefully observed the impressive onslaught of lies and hatred directed at her since she joined John McCain in his bid for the White House.

I will review just a few of her splendid accomplishments.

What I like most about Sarah Palin is her love for her husband and her children. I've long believed there is nothing nobler a person can do in this life than to do a good job raising their children; it appears that Todd and Sarah Palin have an excellent marriage and a great family.

That's no small success in this divorce-ravaged society.

My second favorite thing about Sarah Palin is her love for her country. I know that her political activism springs from a deep appreciation of our rich history and hope-filled future.

I see in her that pioneering spirit I read of in my favorite book, Undaunted Courage, about Lewis & Clark's exploration of the unsettled West. Whenever Sarah speaks of Alaska and the people of Alaska her love and excitement for the Alaskan experience is evident. Every year I intently follow my favorite sporting event the Iditarod dog sled race across the interior of the Alaskan wilderness.

That same American spirit I see in the participants of that daunting and severely testing competition is what I see in Sarah Palin. She is up to the challenge to change America for the better and has the indefatigable spirit to follow her convictions against a blizzard of opposition.

Sarah is no smooth-tongued politician. She is indeed a hockey mom. And, having raised a hockey player, I know what she means by that. She is from smalltown America but had the grace, self-confidence, moral integrity and intelligence to step out of complete obscurity on to the grand stage of the national political scene and to win the admiration and affection of millions of Americans.

These are the same Americans who made her book, "Going Rogue," a smash best seller before it's even hit the shelves. The word 'rogue' was used disparagingly about Mrs. Palin during the campaign. But, as with her appearance on SNL, SP has turned her critics' smear tactics to her advantage.

Sarah is very intelligent and has a good sense of humor. Thank her school secretary mom and science teacher dad for that.

Those who desperately fear the Christian moral foundations of her humanity went to great lengths to portray her as stupid. All they did was display their hatred for the very principles upon which our country achieved its greatness and how fearful they are of a person who still embodies the morality which our country has tragically abandoned.

A prominent figure in the American Revolution, Patrick Henry, wrote: "It cannot be emphasized too clearly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

In days to come, Sarah Palin will face an avalanche of hostility and slander unparalleled in modern American politics but she will overwhelm and lay to waste all her detractors.  Just wait and see.

The national movement that is building to take back Congress next year and elect Sarah Palin President in 2012 gathers steam each day.  Young and old alike are massing like a citizen army awaiting the battle cry for freedom to sweep the Pelosi’s, Reid’s and Obama’s out of Washington.  Every day we see evidence of people using their creative talents to produce videos, launch web sites, organize neighbors and register voters in the name of the common sense conservatism Sarah Palin is proclaiming for our nation.  The creative video found below is just another fine example of citizens using whatever talents they have to back Palin.  You will enjoy it.  Of that, we have no doubt!

While some progressive types scramble to suddenly defend Reagan conservatism by writing articles titled "Sarah Palin is NOT the new Reagan," the life stories of Reagan and Palin contradict their theories by revealing stark similarities between these two fascinating Americans.

Reagan and Palin were raised with similar values, attended similar schools, had similar competitive interests, and embarked on authentic, gradual segues into public service, with an undeniable connection to conservative Americans. 

Just like Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin was born in a small town. Reagan was born in Tampico, Illinois, while Palin debuted in Sandpoint, Idaho -- both in February. As a youngster, Reagan had a job as a lifeguard and developed an enriched passion for competitive sports -- particularly football -- in high school. Sarah worked with her family, getting up with her father on many early mornings to hunt for the family's meat supply. In high school, she became known as "Barracuda" on the basketball court, and she eventually led her team to the state championship. 

Just like Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin never attended an Ivy League college. Reagan chose Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, while Sarah Palin attended local and state-level universities. Both obtained bachelor's degrees and sought work as sportscasters -- Reagan for the University of Iowa, Palin for local Anchorage news station.

Just like Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin got involved in politics by taking small steps. Reagan began writing speeches (which often espoused political messages supporting pro-business conservatism) while working for General Electric. Sarah Palin got involved with her local PTA and ran for city council of her small town because she was concerned about how her tax dollars were being spent. 

Just as Ronald Reagan did, Palin contains an instantly recognizable honesty factor among the grassroots. Through honesty, both politicians' careers in public service continued to escalate in small but definitive steps.

Two years after his dismissal from General Electric, and in the same year Sarah Palin was born, Ronald Reagan kicked off the start of his enormous grassroots influence on a national level by giving his famed "Barry Goldwater" speech in 1964. Similarly, Sarah Palin remained impressively modest while giving one of the most powerful and effective speeches of all time during the 2008 Republican National Convention. 

Just like Reagan, Sarah Palin was able to demonstrate how one lives and learns through personal moments of grievance and despair. Last year, the mainstream media went wild over Sarah Palin upon learning about her daughter's pregnancy during the same time she was being vetted by the McCain campaign. With Ronald Reagan, liberals in the media took aim at the fact that he was "the only divorced president." 

Just like Reagan, Sarah Palin had been out of the country only a limited amount of times before running for national office. Even during Reagan's service to his country, his nearsightedness kept him from serving overseas. 

Liberals and Republicans alike declared Ronald Reagan unqualified to be president, especially after Gerald Ford beat him for the Republican nomination in 1976. Even after four years of Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford himself remarked as late as March 1979 that Reagan was "unelectable."

With the release of Palin's Going Rogue this month, Nielsen reports Palin selling an astonishing 469,000 copies in the book's first week of release. This trounces Obama's The Audacity of Hope, which sold 67,000 in the same period. On her nationwide book tour, Palin is reaching out to the masses and once again drawing record crowds -- and her grassroots fame gave Oprah her highest ratings in two years.

Just like Reagan, Palin continues to plow through her opposition, remaining successful by holding onto the nationwide support she had from last year while growing an entire base of new admirers from the bottom up. With the left and the elite Republicans scrambling for their best anti-Palin rhetoric while she innocuously sells her book, one wonders what they will come up with if she ever does run for president.

Most importantly, given classic Reagan history, and while some in the media ponder whether Sarah Palin will ever get support from Washington's beltway, all grassroots conservatives seem to be energized by the obvious: She never needed it.

What started as a small colony in the territory that would eventually become the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has progressed into the greatest and most prosperous nation in history. Americans remain the freest people on earth because of our cherished Constitution and the system of government it establishes. 

We have so much to be thankful for. We should recognize especially the sacrifices made on our behalf by those in uniform. Thousands of Americans will be spending Thanksgiving overseas in combat zones in order to protect our liberty and way of life. We should give thanks to those who willingly put their lives on the line for the rest of us. Where would we be without them?

We are also thankful for what God has granted us. We are truly blessed in America with rich natural resources, plentiful energy sources, fertile land, beautiful cities, and the talented and industrious people we call “our fellow Americans.” We pray that God will continue to bless us. 

In his farewell address to the nation, President Reagan reminded us that “all great change in America begins at the dinner table.” Thanksgiving is an opportunity to discuss where we are as a nation at this moment in our history and where we should be heading in order to remain prosperous and free. Take time to discuss these things with each other, and take time to teach the young people in your family about our nation’s history so that they may never forget all that we have to be proud of and thankful for.

When Sarah Palin left the governorship of Alaska at the end of July, her supporters stood strong and tall. Websites devoted to the former governor continued springing up across the web with the same vigor as they had before her resignation and since her selection as vice presidential candidate. Membership in pro-Sarah websites grew instead of contracting as most typical thinkers would have thought. But the termination of her Twitter account timed simultaneously with a self-imposed exile so she could write her book and “bone up” on the issues left her fans somewhat hungry.

Like addicts “jonesing” for a fix, Sarah supporters were doing radio broadcasts and writing blogs just so they could talk about her and keep the positive flame alive in an environment where left wing bloggers and the mainstream media were doing everything they could to finally put her to rest. Now, Sarah Palin is coming back to bookstores and TV screens across the nation and her fans are about to binge.

I was too young to watch what Ronald Reagan did before he became president. So I hit the computer and researched the hell out of the pre-presidential days of Reagan. I also bought “Rendezvous With Destiny.”

I realized that what I was seeing with Sarah was the “political childhood” I had missed with Reagan. Reagan became the man for me a half hour after he was inaugurated, not in 1964 or 1976. Sarah Palin became “the woman” for me the night she gave her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

I got to see Sarah Palin’s governorship. I got to see her exile. I got to see the part that I missed with Reagan.

If Sarah Palin could draw 60,000 people to a rally, electrify the Republican base the way she did and develop such a strong devout following all in the matter of a few months, can you imagine what she could do in the matter of a few years?

It’s mind boggling.

Sarah Palin was an accomplished governor and mayor when she was selected as the VP candidate in 2008. She had focused all of her efforts on governing Alaska. She knew every nook and cranny of energy policy and how the oil and gas business worked. Did she know who the president of Khazakstan was? Probably not. When asked about the bailouts, she told a reporter she would have to get more specific information on how the Fed wanted to do them but knew to say that in general she doesn’t favor bailouts.

Sarah Palin did not spend the years leading up to her nomination as vice presidential candidate studying Federal Reserve banking policy. She was too busy putting together ACES and AGIA. The Bush Doctrine meant nothing to her, not because she wasn’t intellectually curious, but because she was a citizen politician learning the nuts and bolts of how to be a great leader. Learning the Bush Doctrine was not going to put any money into her pocket; being a strong leader for Alaska was, and as such, that got the priority.

Handlers say that Sarah Palin was such a fast learner that they soon got over the fear they had about her going up against a political veteran like Joe Biden. There was the impression that Sarah Palin could cram more information in an hour than most could cram in a week.

Now consider this. Since July it’s been what 3 months? Sarah Palin has done more preparation for being president than she’s ever done in her life. Sarah basically did the work equivalent of earning a PHD in political science during the last three months. And she wrote a book doing it.

There are going to be a lot of people who are going to be not only surprised, but shocked at the politically mature and ridiculously charismatic Sarah Palin we are going to see in just a few short days.

Buckle up and strap yourself in folks. The Sarah Palin we are going to see is going to blow our minds. Tina Fey is going to have to totally re-do her act if she wants to satirize the new Sarah Palin.

Already, word on the street is that she looks great, is no longer looking too thin and has that twinkle in her eye again. They even (Beehive is going to love this) say her hair has gotten longer and fuller!

Sarah Palin supporters are about to get more Sarah than they can possibly handle. It’s going to make liberals sicker than dogs, but it’s going to be binge time for Sarah Palin fans.

Ladies and gentleman, you are about to see what happens to a snapshot in time when she becomes an evolving candidate. You are about to see what happens to an electrifier when she becomes a behemoth.
