If you are patiently (or impatiently) waiting to contribute to Governor Palin's legal defense fund, your wait is almost over. This is the response from Meghan Stapleton of Governor Palin's team with regards to the status of a legal defense fund.:
"Thank you so very much. We should have all the legal paperwork done this week in the establishment of a fund and hope to launch it Thursday. Please watch for any news this week (or early next at the latest) and please thank EVERYONE for their support. The Governor is overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown across America."
Please check back daily for further details.

KaJo Said,
Sarah Palin wouldn't need a legal defense fund if she didn't keep doing things that require legal defense.
Paying off the self-inflicted Troopergate legal fees isn't the only thing she's responsible for, you know.
There's a number of ethics complaints yet to be resolved, and recently, several illegal and unapproved appointments to state offices.
You'd think even ONE ethics complaint against a sitting governor would cause people to wonder, "Is there more we should know before we send our money to her?"
But hey, it's YOUR money.

upinak Said,
KaJo, really. So putting a ethics violation claim in for a freaking Arctic Cat Jacket she wore would be "wrong"?
You are an idiot. And FYI, since it was Mud aka Jeanne of Anchorage who put in that claim, and was outted by a Democrat Legislator... shouldn't SHE pay the filing fees and claim?
Maybe some people need to have these turned around on them Hollis French, Walt M., akmudflat akaJeanne and a few others who are throwing in claims.
Why not stay in your "little" State where there is a heck of a lot more going, that is totally unethical, then worrying about Alaska and Gov. Palin.
