Thanks for sharing this article - I had missed it. You are right in pointing out the importance of Gov. Palin's 'woman next door' appeal to those going through tough times.
It will be interesting to watch how Americans react to the Governor over the next few months, and what her presence on the scene might inspire them to act.

I am afraid you don't know, what "royalist" stands for.
The matriarch from Alaska would fit much more into the definition of the term "royalist", however, not into what I'd prefer as a royalist.
