Juneau, AK -Governor Palin will have an opportunity to appoint a 3rd justice to AK Supreme Court.
Once the Governor makes an appointment to fill the vacancy to be left by Justice Robert Eastaugh, who has announced his retirement, Palin will have appointed a majority of the 5-member court.
Eastaugh, 65, was appointed in 94 by Gov. Wally Hickel. He retires Nov. 2nd.
Last month, Governor Palin appointed Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen and in 2007, the Governor appointed Fairbanks attorney Daniel Winfree.

She has already proven to be a Constitutionalist.
I am sure that she will make a wise choice, selected from the best that Alaska has to offer.
