With Talk radio, conservatives not only taking over the publishing industry but saving it, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal and the death of the anti-American MSM we are taking back the media.  The New York Times must be not only confused but quite upset at this list.  A great example is the opposite and parallel paths the WSJ and NY Times are on.  The WSJ has recently become the number 1 paper in the country and the NY Times is in a free fall presently at 3rd and very bankrupt.  Lets hope News Corp. & Murdock save the once great NY Times.

I also enjoy really enjoy watching the MSM making fools of themselves with every attack on Governor Palin, on other conservatives and even Fox News.  The Huffington Post, Time, MSNBC, NY Times, Newsweek, The Wash Post and even Obama & crew are so blatantly ignorant they do not realize that with every attack they elevate the opposition.  The morons keep blaming the internet, the state of the news industry and the economy for the decline in readership and not their failure at reporting real news and looking out for the American people.

Thank God the American people are realizing the MSM fooled them in portraying Obama has the savior & genius and Sarah Palin as the dummy.  Obama The disaster and his crew of amateurs have solidified Fox News as the most powerfull news source, The WSJ has become number one and Sarah Palin’s popularity and positives with the public are growing and growing.

(Video) Sarah Palin Does Turkey Trot Breaks Fundraising Record

Friday, November 27, 2009 0 Responses
NBC affiliate Kndu has reported on Sarah Palin in the Turkey Trot 5k fundraiser for The Red Cross:

Kennewick, WA. - We had the chance to talk with her earlier today at the 6th Annual Turkey Trot and she was full of energy. "This is so encouraging, nice warm reception.  I should have expected it because it's the Tri-Cities, and amazing hospitable people live here, we love it," said Palin.

Sarah Palin was surrounded by hundreds including a handful of supporters from Alaska. The former Vice Presidential candidate has taken a few days off her nationwide book tour to spend her Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. She has two aunts in town and deep roots in the Tri-City area. "It's awesome, of course we've spent so much time here over all these years.  But it's really, really good to be back and just can't wait to hang out with more of the family and friends today and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner," said Palin.

Thanksgiving dinner was not the only thing to celebrate. The Red Cross had nearly 3,000 registered trotters. Several hundred of those was because of Sarah Palin.  Her appearance helped bring in some big bucks for the non-profit organization. "She did increase participation which is great.  It's a family event and we thank her for that, and we are raising money for the Red Cross," said Pat Mastler, event coordinator for the Red Cross.

The Turkey Trot fundraiser brought in over $45,000 dollars from donations and sponsors. Workers say it broke records.

Sarah Palin will be having a book signing at the Hastings in Richland this Sunday. The signing starts at noon.

Sarah Palin: Reagan reminded us “all great change begins at the dinner table” Happy Thanksgiving!

Wednesday, November 25, 2009 1 Response
Over three hundred years ago, a group of settlers fleeing religious persecution decided to set a new course for human history in a new frontier. Those early pioneers chose a rocky shoreline to establish their way of life. Centuries later, America continues to set the example of what can come from a free and hardworking people. We truly remain the shining city upon a hill that the colonial leader John Winthrop implored us to be.
What started as a small colony in the territory that would eventually become the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has progressed into the greatest and most prosperous nation in history. Americans remain the freest people on earth because of our cherished Constitution and the system of government it establishes.

We have so much to be thankful for. We should recognize especially the sacrifices made on our behalf by those in uniform. Thousands of Americans will be spending Thanksgiving overseas in combat zones in order to protect our liberty and way of life. We should give thanks to those who willingly put their lives on the line for the rest of us. Where would we be without them?

We are also thankful for what God has granted us. We are truly blessed in America with rich natural resources, plentiful energy sources, fertile land, beautiful cities, and the talented and industrious people we call “our fellow Americans.” We pray that God will continue to bless us.

In his farewell address to the nation, President Reagan reminded us that “all great change in America begins at the dinner table.” Thanksgiving is an opportunity to discuss where we are as a nation at this moment in our history and where we should be heading in order to remain prosperous and free. Take time to discuss these things with each other, and take time to teach the young people in your family about our nation’s history so that they may never forget all that we have to be proud of and thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sarah Palin: “How long of a drive?” A fan answers: “12 hours” Palin Replies: “I love you”

Tuesday, November 24, 2009 0 Responses
What an amazing lady!  I do not know if the title makes sense but a women waiting in line to have her copy of Going Rogue signed told Sarah Palin she drove from Tennessee:    As Governor Sarah Palin signed books, a woman in line approached wearing University of Tennessee orange. “How long of a drive was that?” Palin asked. “Twelve hours,” the woman replied Palin said. “I love you, Thank you,” the woman said, claiming her book. “Run in 2012.”  Orange Park was the first of three Florida stops for Palin on Tuesday.
David Hunt from The Jacksonville Times-Union reported from The Going Rogue Book store. The line moved swiftly — swiftly enough to shuffle about 600 people through in two hours. There was the guy with Navy patches on his jacket.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate scribbled a flurry of autographs Tuesday  at the Orange Park Mall Books-a-Million. She made small talk with fan after fan in the bubbly northern accent that’s helped her win hearts and attract critics as speculation rises over a possible 2012 Palin presidential run.

Her memoir, “Going Rogue,” sketches out a personal struggle to rise above politics as usual. Still, she takes shots at the Obama administration and weighs in on the GOP’s failed White House bid last year. Some of the campaign staffers have come forward to contest Palin’s assessments.

Palin’s father, Chuck Heath, also greeted fans. He called the turnout “unbelievable.”Similar scenes have unfolded nationwide, but Heath said he was unsure if the success of the book tour signified a Palin presidential campaign. Several pundits and polls have pegged her, along with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as possibilities for the GOP.

In Clay County, Palin and presidential candidate John McCain picked up 71% of the vote last November. McCain has roots in the area from his military days at Cecil Field.   Judging from the crowd’s reaction as Palin’s bus pulled up to the Orange Park Mall, the former Alaska governor has built her own roots as well.   “I agree with what she’s doing. I’m a conservative. I said, 'You go, girl.’ She smiled,” said Deborah Needham, a retiree who was among those who met Palin at the event.

Needham was wearing a “Read My Lipstick” shirt accented with a pin designed to look like the cover of Vogue magazine. Only it said “Rogue,” along with the requisite Palin glamour shot.  Brittany Cabral , a Florida State College at Jacksonville public relations student, thought the button was pretty creative. She bought one from a vendor outside the mall, too, but wound up giving it to Palin’s mother, Sally Heath, as she passed her in the book-signing line.  Cabral said she hopes and prays for Palin to run for president. “She’s so strong and independent and outspoken,” Cabral said.

Sarah Palin: 2nd Leg Of Book Tour Go Rogue With the Rest of Us!

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 2 Responses
Details of the second half of the Going Rogue book tour!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in every stop on the tour, but I'm especially looking forward to meeting our brave men and women in uniform at Fort Hood. I'm joining the efforts of many others by donating my royalties from the book sales during our stop at Fort Hood to the families of the victims whose lives have been forever changed by the tragic events of November 5th. I am humbled to be able to join the larger effort called "Community Response to 11/5," which was established by the Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of the Association of the US Army (AUSA). You can read more about their great efforts here: http://www.forthoodausa.org/

As I mentioned last week, I'm going back on Twitter, so you can follow our path on SarahPalinUSA. Below are dates, times, and locations of the venues that I'll be referencing. Some other stops are still to be determined. Please contact each venue for more information. I'll see you soon!

(Photos & Video) 10,000+ At Woodland Mall In Michigan To See Sarah Palin

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 2 Responses

Many Slept over night and others arrived at 6am.  I Posted some of the comments and posting, from Teamsarah.org, of people that were at the book signing.  As of 9am 2,000 fans already arrived.  The photo above is from early this morning.

A stage has been set up outside the mall in anticipation of Palin speaking before she enters the books store, but there's one problem. It may rain. Event staff are crossing their fingers and warning reporters it may not happen, or could be relocated indoors.

The Rev. Richard Dietering leaned on his cane in the parking lot outside the Barnes and Noble Booksellers around 3 p.m., hoping Sarah Palin would address the gathering throng from a stage that was set up outside the store.

Dietering, Pastor of the Free Community Bible Church in Ypsilanti, said he drove in hopes of getting Palin's signature.  "I think she's a great American and I want to show her my support, which is more important than getting my book signed," Dietering said.

"I got here late -- at noon," he said.  The cane, he said, was the result of a knee injury

The crowd erupted in cheers and broke into chants of "Sarah! Sarah!" as Sarah Palin entered the Barnes & Nobles at Woodland Mall.  Before entering, Palin emerged from the bus wearing her trademark red blazer her and carrying her youngest child, Trig. After handing him off an aide, she told the crowd: "Thanks so much for showing up. Alaska and Michigan have so much in common with the hunting, fishing and hockey moms."

"And I thank you so much for showing up so you can read my own words -- unfiltered," she said.

Inside the bookstore, Starbucks barristas are told by a frantic employee "This might be the most important drink you ever make!"  They were ordered to make a perfect "Tall Skinny Mocha" for Palin.

The Sarah Palin fans waiting outside the Barnes & Nobles store at Woodland Mall decided to mix it up a bit and begins chanting "Palin! Palin! Palin!" instead of "Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!"

Numbers are estimated to be anywhere from 9,000 to 11,000 throughout the day.  Sarah Palin promised to sign copies of her book from 6pm until 10pm.  I bet she will be there until midnight.

Sarah Palin Is Kind To Obama: Rates Performance 4 Out Of 10

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 0 Responses
Sarah Palin says she’d rate Barack Obama's performance as president a 4 out of 10. She criticized the president for his handling of the economy and for "dithering" on national security questions.

"There are a lot of decisions being made that I — and probably the majority of Americans — are not impressed with right now," she said in an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters Tuesday.

She said Obama's Nobel Peace Prize was "premature."

[...]

The former Alaska governor also said that a 2012 presidential bid is "not on my radar," but wouldn't rule out playing some role in the next presidential election.  "My ambition, if you will, my desire is to help our country in whatever role that may be, and I cannot predict what that will be, what doors will be open in the year 2012," she told Barbara Walters.

When asked whether she'd play a major role, the former Republican vice presidential candidate replied that "if people will have me, I will."  Palin said she's gotten plenty of offers during the past few months, including to open up her family for a reality show, that she has rejected. She also said she wasn't sure whether a talk show would be best for her family.  "I'd probably rather write than talk," she told Walters.

Palin also discussed David Letterman, whom she criticized for a sexually suggestive jokes made at the expense of her teenage daughter in June. Letterman eventually apologized to Palin.  Palin told Walter she has ruled out an appearance on Letterman's late night TV show. "I don't think that I'd want to boost his ratings," she said. "I do want him to sell my book, though I hope he keeps it up."

[...]

The title of Palin's book refers to a phrase John McCain's campaign used to describe his vice presidential running mate going off message. In the book, she criticizes the people who ran McCain's campaign and says she wished she had been allowed to speak more freely. But she told Walters the outcome probably would not have been different if she had.

Despite the internal squabbling and ultimate loss, Palin said she would go through the experience again. "(I) would do it again in a heartbeat," she told Walters.  And though she backed the first federal bailout, Palin says she would not support a second. "That did not put our economy back on the right track. So we learn from our mistakes."

Sarah Palin: Our Commonsense Conservative Cause Needs You

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 2 Responses
There are so many fundamental decisions that must be made in America to move us forward as a free, safe, and patriotic nation! I'm thankful tonight for what feels like a new beginning as we seize opportunities to help put America on the right path.
It's November 16th, and I've finished my book. I've told my story of how I got to where I am, and now I'm eager to move forward. And I want you to join me on the road ahead!
Our nation is at a critical crossroads, but the way forward is clear. Ronald Reagan showed us the way. He entered office during an economic recession even worse than our current one, but he left office after overseeing the largest peacetime economic expansion in American history. His policies worked! He charted the course for us.

C. S. Lewis once wrote: "We all want progress, but if you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road." We need to get back on the right road. In order to progress, we must return to our founding principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and strong national defense.

SarahPAC is dedicated to this!

We're going to work as Commonsense Conservatives for everyday, hardworking Americans by tackling issues that you care about and by helping candidates who will stand up for our nation. We'll help candidates (regardless of party) who have the courage to go to Washington or serve statewide and make the tough decisions needed to get our country back on track.

We can't do this alone - this effort needs good, commonsense Americans now more than ever. Please click here if you can assist with SarahPAC today.

SarahPAC supporters make it possible to get out there and fight for what we believe in. Please stand with us today. We won't let anyone tell us to sit down and shut up. We're going to stand up, stand together, and fight for what's right!

Thank you so much for your support and for your love of our country. My book, Going Rogue, is dedicated to you - to Patriots - who fight for freedom!

With an Alaska Heart,

Sarah Palin

P.S. We are going to be all across the country in the next few weeks. If you're able to contribute, click the button to go back to the SarahPAC homepage to see the schedule.

P.P.S. Any level of support is welcome! Our Commonsense Conservative cause needs you. As a special offer, on behalf of SarahPAC, we will send you a signed copy of Going Rogue for any donation of $100 or more.
Please know how grateful I am for your support.
