Sarah Palin On Obama: Lies, Damned Lies – Obamacare 6 Months Later; It’s Time to Take Back the 20!

Thursday, September 23, 2010 0 Responses
 www.takebackthe20.com
It’s now six months since President Obama took control of one-sixth of the private sector economy with his health care “reform,” and the first changes to our health care system come into effect today. Despite overwhelming public dislike of the bill, we were told that D.C. knows best, and there was nothing to worry about, and we’d be better off swallowing the pill called Obamacare; so, in defiance of the will of the people, the President and his party rammed through this mother of all unfunded mandates. Nancy Pelosi said Congress had to pass the bill so that Americans could “find out what is in it.” We found out that it’s even worse than we feared.

Remember when the president said, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”? Not true. In Texas alone a record number of doctors are leaving the Medicare system because of the cuts in reimbursements forced on them by Obamacare! The president of the Texas Medical Association, Dr. Susan Bailey, warns that “the Medicare system is beginning to implode.”

Remember the Obama administration’s promise that Obamacare would cut a typical family’s premium “by up to $2500 a year”? Not true. In fact, fueled by reports that insurers expect premiums to rise by as much as 25 percent as a result of Obamacare, Senate Democrats are contemplating the introduction of price controls.

Remember when the president said in his address to Congress that “no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions”? That turned out to be yet another one of those “You lie!” moments. We found out that Obamacare-mandated high risk insurance pools set up in states like Pennsylvania and New Mexico will fund abortions after all.

Remember the promise that Obamacare would “strengthen small businesses”? Not true either. The net result of Obamacare is that small businesses will face higher health care costs, new Medicare taxes, and higher regulation compliance costs, while the much-hyped health care tax credit for small businesses turns out to be almost impossible to obtain.

Remember the president’s promise that his bill would ensure “everyone [has] some basic security”? False again. Besides the great uncertainly that Obamacare hampers businesses with, companies now find it is actually cheaper to pay the $2000 per employee fine imposed by Obamacare than to keep insuring their workforce. This leaves millions of American workers at risk of losing their employer-provided health insurance.

And remember when the Obama administration said they would not be “rationing care” in the future? That ol’ “death panels” thing I wrote about last year? That was before Obamacare was passed. Once it passed, they admitted there was going to be rationing after all. There has to be. The reality of Obamacare is that it enshrines what the New York Times called “The Power of No” – the government’s power to say no to your request for treatment of the people you love. The fact that the president used a recess appointment to push through the nomination of Dr. Donald Berwick as head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services tells you all you need to know about this administration’s intentions. After all, Berwick is the man who said, “The decision is not whether we will ration care – the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”

By the way, when the administration was talking about that independent board that has the statutory power to decide which categories of treatment are worthy of funding based on efficiency calculations (that, again, sounded to me like a panel of faceless bureaucrats making life and death decisions about your loved ones – which, again, is what I referred to as a “death panel”), it was another opportunity for Americans to hear the truth about Obamacare’s intentions.

So, yes, those rationing “death panels” are there, and so are the tax increases that the president also promised were “absolutely not” in his bill. (Aren’t you tiring of the untruths coming from this White House and the liberals in Congress?) When the state of Florida filed a challenge to Obamacare on the basis that the mandates in the bill are unconstitutional, the Obama Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss the suit by citing the Anti-Injuction Act, which blocks courts from interfering with the federal government’s ability to collect taxes. Yes, taxes! Once the bill was passed it was no longer politically inconvenient for the Obama administration to admit that it makes no difference whether the payment is a tax or a penalty because it’s “assessed and collected in the same manner.” The National Taxpayer Advocate has already warned that “Congress must provide sufficient funding” to allow the IRS to collect this new tax. Pretty soon we’ll be paying taxes just to make it possible for the IRS to collect all the additional taxes under Obamacare! Seems as if this is another surprise that the public found out about after the bill was rammed through.

But perhaps the most ridiculous promise of all was the president’s assurance that Obamacare will lead to “bending the curve” on health care spending. Yes, rationing is a part of the new system, and yes, Obamacare does raise taxes. But because the new government managed system is so incredibly complicated and expensive to run, health care spending will actually rise instead of fall. Don’t believe me? Then take a look at the Congressional Budget Office’s admittance that the CBO’s original estimate of the total costs of the bill were off by around $115 billion. Its new estimate is now above $1 trillion, and even that may be way too low. A more realistic figure calculated by the Pacific Research Institute puts the number at $2.5 to $3 trillion over the next 10 years! This is probably what President Obama was referring to when he admitted recently that he had known all along that “at the margins” his proposals were going to drive up costs. Give us a break! Only in this administration would they refer to a $3 trillion spending increase as “marginal.” Next time he comes to us with another one of his harebrained proposals for a budget-busting federal power grab, let’s make sure we remember the president’s admission that he was lying all along when he told us his health care plan was going to cut costs. He is increasing costs. He admits it now. Period.

Higher costs and worse care – is it any wonder why people are overwhelmingly in favor of repealing and replacing Obamacare? Politicians who have vacillated on this issue need to be fired. Candidates who don’t support “repeal and replace” don’t deserve your support. No amount of money spent on Washington’s “government-wide apolitical public information campaign” (otherwise known as “propaganda”) will convince Americans that this awful legislation is anything other than a debt-driven big government train wreck. We need to repeal and replace it, and that can only happen if we elect a new Congress that will make scrapping Obamacare one of its top priorities. We can replace it with pro-private sector, patient-oriented reform that the GOP has proposed.

On March 23, when Obamacare was signed into law, I launched my “Take back the 20” campaign, focusing on 20 congressional districts that John McCain and I carried in 2008 which are or were represented by members of Congress who voted in favor of Obamacare. They need to be held accountable for those votes. They voted for Obamacare. Now we can vote against them. We need to replace them with representatives who will respect the will of the people.

That’s why today I’m launching a new Take Back the 20 website at www.takebackthe20.com!

TakeBackthe20.com provides information about the candidates in these 20 districts who are committed to repealing and replacing Obamacare. It has links to their personal websites and their donation pages. It allows you to read up on them, and then support them in their race to defeat those who gave us this terrible bill.

We have to send Washington a message that it’s not acceptable to disregard the will of the people. We have to tell them enough is enough. No more defying the Constitution. No more driving us off a financial cliff. We must repeal and replace Obamacare with patient-centered, results-driven, free market reform that provides solutions to people of all income levels without bankrupting our country.

It’s time to make a stand! Let’s take back the 20!

Sarah Palin In Atlanta: Obama Care 'hefty tax hike' For Special Needs Families

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 0 Responses
The federal medical care overhaul would limit contributions to health savings accounts and raise insurance costs for people including those with special needs, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said at a fundraiser Tuesday for developmentally disabled children.
She warned that new rules aiming to raise $13 billion by limiting contributions to flexiblespending accounts amount to a “hefty tax hike” for families of special needs children struggling with health care costs. And she said families will wind up with fewer care options.
“Our insurance and our care choices will be diminished by this new program,” she said to an audience of several thousand at a suburban Atlanta arena. “The government’s taking over one-sixth of our economy and we expect the government’s going to do a better job than the private sector?” [...]
Palin said she felt connected to the audience because she has a young son, Trig, with Down syndrome.  She said that she was shocked when doctors told her the news when she was 12 weeks pregnant and wondered if she would be patient enough to handle the challenge. But she said she believed God prepared her heart for her son’s birth during the pregnancy.
“It was such an answered prayer the moment that Trig was born. It was the greatest, most obvious manifestation of a prayer when Trig was born,” she said. “He looked up at me like he was saying, ‘I’m here mom. Now are you going to trust that all is going to be OK?’” [...]
She said she would work to encourage Americans to treat special needs children with respect and that she was disappointed that one of Obama’s aides used the word “retarded.” White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel apologized earlier this year for using the word to describe liberal activists whose tactics on health care he questioned. Photo Gallery
“America’s too good for that,” she said to applause. “We’re too good to have to put with that.”

Sarah Palin Endorses 3 Vets For Congress: Lieut Colonel Allen West, Major Vaughn Ward & Capt Adam Kinzinger

Monday, March 29, 2010 1 Response
America, if you love your freedom, thank a vet! And if you’re looking for leaders who believe in integrity, service, and country first, look to our veterans.
Last week I campaigned for a true American hero, John McCain, and this week I’d ask you to join me in supporting a new generation of heroes who are heeding their country’s call for leadership in Washington.
There are a number of great veteran candidates running for office this year, and there are some excellent organizations dedicated to helping them, including: Iraq Vets for Congress and Combat Veterans for Congress (please click on the links to visit their websites).
There are three veterans in particular I’ll be supporting this week.
The first is Major Vaughn Ward, a fourth-generation Idaho native who grew up on his family’s farm in Shoshone and is running in Idaho’s 1st Congressional District. Coming from a family with a proud military tradition, Vaughn enlisted in the Marine Corps after college and was finishing up his service when the September 11th attacks occurred. He put his life on hold and heeded his country’s call – serving first as a CIA Operations Officer and later volunteering with the Marine Corps for a combat tour in Iraq, during which he was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat V. After returning from Iraq, Vaughn went to work for the McCain/Palin campaign. I was grateful for his support then, and I’m happy to support him now because I know that he believes in the same commonsense conservative ideals that we cherish. Vaughn knows that real job growth comes from the private sector, not government. He believes in free market reforms, tax relief for families and small businesses, and a return to a constitutionally limited government that lives within its means. He’ll carry the conservative banner to Washington and will rein in the reckless growth of government to get it back on our side. And remember, a vote for Vaughn is a vote to remove the gavel from Nancy Pelosi’s grip. Please visit Vaughn’s website here to make a donation to his campaign, and follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
The second veteran is Captain Adam Kinzinger, a decorated special-operations pilot who flew combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Adam is running for Illinois’ 11th Congressional District against a freshman incumbent congresswoman who seemed to pull a bait and switch on voters to get elected. She sounded like a blue dog on the campaign trail, but didn’t vote like one in Washington. Instead, she voted in lockstep with the Pelosi agenda – on Obamacare, the stimulus, cap-and-tax – and the list goes on. She’s part of the reason for Congress’ 11% approval rating. Adam is a strong fiscal conservative with a proven track record as a reformer from his years serving on his local county board. Adam started out in local office, and, like many of us, believes in making government more accountable to the people. When you serve in local office, your constituents truly are your neighbors. Adam understands this, and I know that he will listen to his constituents and work for us, not against us, in Washington. Please visit Adam’s website here to make a donation to his campaign, and follow him on Facebook and Twitter
The third veteran is Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, a decorated war hero who’s served with distinction in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. Many of you may have heard of Allen from a speech he gave last year that became a viral video on YouTube with over 2 million viewers. Allen’s personal story is a testament to the commonsense conservative belief that our nation’s greatness is rooted in freedom, because with freedom comes equal opportunity, and that, coupled with hard work, leads to success. Allen is a small government fiscal conservative running against a leftwing ideologue who’s marched to the beat of Nancy Pelosi on every issue from cap-and-tax to the stimulus, TARP, and, of course, Obamacare. It’s time to send Allen to Washington in his place. Please visit Allen’s website here to donate to his campaign, and follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
I believe that these great veterans will fight for us in D.C. to uphold and defend our constitution as courageously in the halls of Congress as they did on the field of battle. I’m so honored to offer my support to these American heroes, and I hope you’ll join me in helping them so that they can serve us all in Washington.

Sarah Palin: Holding Congress Accountable For Disastrous Obama Care, 20 Targets

Tuesday, March 23, 2010 0 Responses
With the president signing this unwanted and “transformative” government takeover of our health care system today with promises impossible to keep, let’s not get discouraged. Don’t get demoralized. Get organized!
We’re going to reclaim the power of the people from those who disregarded the will of the people. We’re going to fire them and send them back to the private sector, which has been shrinking thanks to their destructive government-growing policies. Maybe when they join the millions of unemployed, they’ll understand why Americans wanted them to focus on job creation and an invigorated private sector. Come November, we’re going to print pink slips for members of Congress as fast as they’ve been printing money.
We’re paying particular attention to those House members who voted in favor of Obamacare and represent districts that Senator John McCain and I carried during the 2008 election. Three of these House members are retiring – from Arkansas’s 2nd district, Indiana’s 8th district, and Tennessee’s 6th district – but we’ll be working to make sure that those who replace them are Commonsense Conservatives. The others are running for re-election, and we’re going to hold them accountable for this disastrous Obamacare vote.
They are:
Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-1)
Harry E. Mitchell (AZ-5)
Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-8)
John Salazar (CO-3)
Betsy Markey (CO-4)
Allen Boyd (FL-2)
Suzanne M. Kosmas (FL-24)
Baron P. Hill (IN-9)
Earl Pomeroy (ND-AL)
Charlie Wilson (OH-6)
John Boccieri (OH-16)
Kathy Dahlkemper (PA-3)
Christopher Carney (PA-10)
John M. Spratt, Jr. (SC-5)
Tom Perriello (VA-5)
Alan B. Mollohan (WV-1)
Nick J. Rahall II (WV-3)
We’ll aim for these races and many others. This is just the first salvo in a fight to elect people across the nation who will bring common sense to Washington. Please go to sarahpac.com and join me in the fight.
Stand tall, America. Real change is coming!

Redstate: Sarah Palin Should Be The Nominee In 2012! Romney’s Candidacy Died Sunday

Monday, March 22, 2010 1 Response
I saw Sarah Palin on the O’Reilly Factor and I am convinced that she is the best candidate to run against Obama and Obama-care. She is the only prospective candidate that is a real conservative and the only one that can solidly run against Obama-care. If anyone can beat Obama it is Sarah Palin and no some middle of the road moderate.
Conservatives will spend the better part of the decade trying to erase and defeat Obama-care. I pray they will be successful.  Mitt Romney’s 2012 candidacy died today and he knows it. The Republican strategy is now and forever running against socialism and Obama-care and not embracing it.  We do not need a republican that enabled the model for Obama-care and championed it, while he was Governor of Massachusetts. The Republicans must beat Obama-care in court and at the state level and take the White House. They do not do this by agreeing with Obama and the leftists on socialized medicine.
Sarah Palin has been a strong critic of Obama-care and will absolutely run against it with no apologies. The Republican party must remain a conservative party and not a liberal party. The Republicans must succeed where the “so called” conservatives in Britain and Canada failed and end national health-care! I think we can win this war and I hope we have real conservatives willing to fight it and not lousy RINOS willing to go along with it. That is why Sarah Palin should be the nominee! This is a fight that will probably last a decade.

Sarah Palin: We Will Not Let America Sink Into Further Debt. Stand Tall, America. Nov Is Coming!

Monday, March 22, 2010 0 Responses
We’ve been reminded many times that elections have consequences. Yesterday we saw the consequence of voting for those who believe in “fundamentally transforming” America whether we want it or not. Yesterday they voted. In November, we get to vote. We won’t forget what we saw yesterday. Congress passed a bill while Americans said “no,” and thousands of everyday citizens even surrounded the Capital Building to beg them not to do it. Has there ever been a more obvious exhibition of a detached and imperious government?
In the weeks to come, we can expect them to try to change the subject, but we won’t forget. Don't let them move on to further “transformational” steps while forgetting what Congress just did against the will of the people. Though Obamacare will inflict billions in new taxes on individuals and employers, at least it creates some jobs: the IRS might have to hire as many as 16,000 new employees to enforce all the new taxes and penalties the bill calls for! And that doesn’t include all the other government jobs from the 159 new agencies, panels, commissions and departments this bill will create. As the private sector shrinks, we can count on government to keep growing along with the deficits needed to keep it all afloat. (Is this the kind of “change” Americans asked for?)
In the end, this unsustainable bill jeopardizes the very thing it was supposed to fix – our health care system. Somewhere along the way we forgot that health care reform is about doctors and patients, not the IRS and politicians. Instead of helping doctors with tort reform, this bill has made primary care physicians think about getting out of medicine. It was supposed to make health care more affordable, but our premiums will continue to go up. It was supposed to help more people get coverage, but there will still be 23 million uninsured people by 2019.
Though they’d like us to forget, we will remember the corrupt deals, the corrupt process, the lack of transparency, the deceptive gimmicks to game the CBO score, and the utter disregard for the will of the American people. Elections have consequences, and we won’t forget those who promised to hold firm against government funding of abortion, but caved at the last minute in exchange for a non-binding executive order promised by the most pro-abortion president to ever occupy the White House.
All along we’ve said that we want real health care reform, but this isn’t it. We mustn’t be discouraged now. We must look to November when our goal will be to rebuke big government’s power grab, reject this unwanted “transformation” of America, and repeal dangerous portions of Obamacare that will bury us under more Big Government control.
This is just the beginning of our efforts to take back our country. Consider yesterday’s vote a clarion call and a spur to action. We will not let America sink into further debt without a fight. We will not abandon the American dream to government dependency, fewer freedoms and less opportunity. Change is made at the ballot box. If we work together, we can renew our optimistic pioneering spirit, revive our economy, and restore constitutional limits.
Stand tall, America. November is coming!

Sarah Palin To Obama: With a Stiff Spine America Must Stand Against ObamaCare

Sunday, March 14, 2010 0 Responses
If Senator Reid, Speaker Pelosi, and President Obama get their way, soon our country will be changed forever. Using every partisan parliamentary trick in the book (including some they invented just last week), Washington’s Left intends to ram through their takeover of our health care system regardless of the consequences.
The latest twists and turns in the Obamacare drama seem almost surreal. One minute the Democrat leadership is trying to amend a bill before the president has even signed it into law, and the next minute they’re trying to draft a new rule that will allow the House to “deem” a bill passed without actually voting on it! They’re determined to use the Senate reconciliation process as a parliamentary trick to bypass the regular voting procedure (and by the way, to add insult to injury, they’re now going to ram through federalization of America’s student loan industry with this same reconciliation vote). Is there any other wildly unpopular legislation they’d also like to sneak in? Perhaps the anti-energy-independence policy “Cap and Tax” (aka Cap and Trade) is next?
And make no mistake, the Obamacare bill is wildly unpopular. The Democrats’ own pollsters warn of an “unmitigated disaster” for them in November if they don’t abandon their plan and start over with real incremental health care reform. Incredibly, at this point, they don’t seem to care. Speaker Pelosi thinks Congress must pass the bill so that the American people can then “find out what’s in it.” We know what’s in it. We don’t want it. The Democrats will take short-term electoral losses in exchange for long-term radical change of the United States of America. They assume we’ll come to accept this new intrusion of government once we’re stuck with it. That’s why we can’t concede this battle. Americans must stiffen our spines and stand against this action that violates the will of the people with centralized government mandates and crippling costs.
Republicans in Congress are holding the line, and some Democrats are standing with them. Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) said he won’t vote for the Senate bill if federal funding of abortion is included. Last Friday, he told National Review Online that some Democrats have told him that if abortions aren’t covered in Obamacare then “more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more…Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America?” As I wrote in my first post on this topic, human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion. Government health care will not reduce the cost of medical care; it will simply refuse to pay it. And who will get left behind when they have to ration care to save money?
Please ask yourself: who will be left behind? And who will decide – what kind of panel will decide – who receives the health care that government will obviously have to ration?
There’s a great deal of pressure being put on Stupak’s pro-life Democrats. They’re already dwindling in number. Their party is threatening them, and so are powerful SEIU labor union bosses. The Democrats respecting the sanctity of life have every incentive to buckle under the pressure, so they need to know that we’ll support them if they do the right thing and vote no on Obamacare.
Please take the time to get involved in the debate this week. There are many grassroots efforts under way. There will be a march on Washington on Tuesday, March 16th (see here for details). Rep. Michele Bachmann has a “Kill the Bill” online petition that you can sign here. Most importantly, contact members of Congress and offer your support if they do the right thing.
We know we’ll beat them at the ballot box, but we have to kill this bill before November. This is the final push. We must stand up and stand together one last time to insist on true market-oriented, patient-centered health care reform that reflects America’s values and the will of the people.

The Media Lies: Sarah Palin Used Canadian HealthCare But Before It Was Socialized (It Was Not Free)

Monday, March 08, 2010 1 Response
If anyone thinks for one second that Sarah Palin is not a political genius, well, they need to think again!
One thing we all know for sure is the democrat party and the media (yes, yes, I know, same thing) hang on her ever word, every action. Sarah Palin can walk out her front door and it makes headlines. Sarah is so far into these people’s heads. She is living there rent free.
Better still, she knows it and is constantly using that to her advantage. Take her State of the Union address at the national Tea Party convention last month. She wrote three words on her hand, and ever since, people are asking her about it, and giving her an opportunity to talk about national security, energy independence, and the budget. Genius, pure genius.

We speculated, at the time, that it may have been on purpose. Whether it was or just Sarah being Sarah, we’ll never know, but one thing’s for sure, the media took the bait!

This newest deal, of course, is even more delicious, because the left wing media has already started caterwauling over the speech Sarah gave in Canada this weekend. They are taking the bait here as well and, as usual, the Obamacentric media gets it wrong.
The Washington Post, in it’s "44" blog, a blog that only exists to promote Barack Obama and his policies, writes this:
  • Palin says her family went to Canada for health care when she was young Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, a fierce opponent of Democratic health-care reform efforts who has said America under President Obama is headed toward socialism, told a Canadian audience her family used to go to Canada to get medical care when she was growing up.
  • "My first five years of life we spent in Skagway, Alaska, right there by Whitehorse. Believe it or not -- this was in the '60s -- we used to hustle on over the border for health care that we would receive in Whitehorse. I remember my brother, he burned his ankle in some little kid accident thing and my parents had to put him on a train and rush him over to Whitehorse and I think, isn't that kind of ironic now. Zooming over the border, getting health care from Canada," Palin said a speech Saturday night, according to the Calgary Herald.
  • Palin spoke before a paying audience of 1,200 in Calgary, with tickets costing between $150 and $200, the Medicine Hat News of Medicine Hat, Alberta, reported.
  • Whitehorse, in the Yukon, Canada, is north of Skagway.
  • Palin has also told an alternate version of the story that had her family traveling south by ferry to Juneau from Skagway for treatment of her brother's burned foot, rather than to Canada, according to a 2007 report posted by the Skagway News.
Of course, the implication is that: "ooooh, Palin used ‘evil socialized medicine’ herself, but wants to deny America of the same fine treatment."
This story line fails on many levels.
First of all, despite what WaPo and other dishonest media seek to portray, Canada didn’t have socialized medicine in the 1960's. Oh sure, some provinces had experimented with it, Saskatchewan, for one, had some success even. But Canada didn’t have a national health program.

Another far left wing website TPM is also caught up in the lie:
  • Canada's single-payer health care system, known as Medicare, was established in 1966. Its principal founders were Tommy Douglas, leader of the social-democratic New Democratic Party and former Premier of Saskatchewan, and Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson of the Liberal Party. It had previously been implemented at the provincial level in Saskatchewan in the early 1960s, under Douglas's leadership. At the time of Canadian Medicare's passage, Palin was two years old. You see, this is how the dishonest media works, they rely on the hope that you, the reader is stupid and/or lazy, and won’t do any investigating themselves.
If nothing else, Sarah Palin’s very existence and the media’s reaction to her, has shown us that we must fact check absolutely ever single story they produce, because chances are good they got it wrong.
Here's the truth: The establishment of the Medical Care Act of 1966 allowed each province to set up their own "universal health care" programs, much like the states are free in America to do whatever they want regarding this sort of thing. The key word being allowed. (not required)
Of course, we know that universal care has been a disaster for every state that has tried it in the United States. Think Massachusetts.
It wasn’t until the 1970's that Canada had any sort of nationwide "universal care" and it only covered in-hospital care. Doctor visits and other services weren’t covered.
It wasn’t until the Health Care Act of 1984 that Canada had what has come to be known as socialized medicine.
So Sarah and her family never "benefitted" from "socialized medicine." On the contrary, they received the same kind of quality care we enjoy here in America.
Oh, and her brother’s treatment and the two "different" stories? Pretty simple, the family sought emergency care in Whitehorse and the follow up care was done in Alaska.
Once again, in their effort to smear Sarah Palin, the corrupt media proves just how worthless and lazy they are. Or maybe they know the truth about Canadian health care, but choose to lie about it to fool their mind numbed readers.
Hard to tell.
One thing’s for sure, with the progressive movement going down in flames, the media is grasping at absolutely anything to make it all stop. Unfortunately, for them, it’s not going to!
As for Sarah, and all of this idiotic reporting, talk show host extraordinaire Tammy Bruce, writing about the false rumor du jour, says it best:
  • Look, there has not been one ridiculous story/rumor/gossip about Palin and her family, starting with the 2008 campaign, that hasn’t been found false. So here’s the New Rule–if you hear something that sounds stupid, or ridiculous or makes it sound like Sarah Palin has somehow lost her mind, that’s your cue that it’s a false story, engineered to make it sound like, uh, Palin has lost her mind.

All I can say is: Nice try media, keep carrying the progressive’s water. You are making yourself more irrelevant every single day.

Meantime, Adrienne Ross reports that Sarah captivated the Canadian audience and spoke for roughly 40 minutes, without notes. Read Adrienne’s report here.
One last thing, it is this writer’s firm belief that when the history books are written, Sarah Palin will be included as one of America’s greatest and most influential leaders, but if Sarah does nothing more than continually exposing what a bunch of crooked liars the so-called "mainstream media" is, the lady will have provided a noble service to the nation.
