Sarah Palin: East Coast Races Impact All Americans

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 1 Response
As I stand here in a high school gymnasium watching freshmen girls' basketball games, I'm struck by the sight of America's future right in front of me - these tenacious young women full of energy and intensity - I want them to realize every opportunity this great, free nation can provide.

There are big political races on the East Coast that are coming down to the wire - the results of which will impact policies and political actions that touch all of us in every state. Like other independent Americans, you know I don’t always see eye-to-eye with Republican political committees, so when I tell you that the Republican Governors Association has my complete support and confidence in its campaign efforts back East, know that I really mean it. The RGA is helping lead the conservative comeback, BEGINNING THIS YEAR, and its involvement in the East Coast races is significant. I hope you'll support these efforts, which are vital to the cause for America's freedom and prosperity: http://www.rga.org/now <http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/>.

Let's consider the governor's race in New Jersey. The state has the highest tax burden in the country and the incumbent democrat governor has only added to the economic burden. He eliminated property tax rebates for middle class homeowners while the sales tax increased. Altogether, taxes on the people in the region have increased by billions of dollars. It’s no surprise that New Jersey has the highest unemployment rate in the region! Thankfully, there is an alternative. Residents there will be better off under an administration that understands the benefits that result when workers are allowed to keep more of what they earn. Watch New Jersey's economy come alive under new leadership that will put government back on the side of the people! Chris Christie promises this new leadership.

Fortunately, New Jersey's democrat governor is being held accountable with the RGA spending $7 million in the New York and Philadelphia media markets telling the truth about a liberal administrative record while highlighting New Jersey's tax-hiking ways, and reminding voters there is an alternative! The NY and Philly markets are the most expensive in the nation though, so the RGA is requesting help to stay on the air. Visit http://www.rga.org/now <http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/>.

Then in Virginia - there is a clear difference between Republican Bob McDonnell and his liberal opponent. Republican Bob McDonnell is fighting for cheaper American energy and lower taxes, while his opponent wants to raise taxes, and, amazingly, even bragged about having more earmarks than any other state legislator. Bob McDonnell promises to fight for Virginia's hard working families, and he opposes some heavy-handed union leadership efforts that could ultimately hurt employers and employees. The RGA has aired $6 million of TV ads exposing the liberal candidate’s record. I encourage you to help fight for our neighbors in the East by visiting: http://www.rga.org/now <http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/>.

Americans who believe in smaller government and free enterprise have a chance to show Washington that people all across the U.S. don’t want an ever-increasing national debt, more dependency on foreign energy sources and more wasteful government spending. If, like me, this is what you want to show Washington, then I hope you'll support Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell, and the RGA, as great efforts are put forth in these East Coast races.

The young student athletes I'm watching right now are counting on us to do the right thing - to fight for what is right for America today, and into their future. Electing candidates with common sense and respect for freedom is one way we can fight for what is right.

Fox Poll: Governor Sarah Palin Dominates Another 2012 Poll

Monday, October 26, 2009 2 Responses
Fox News posted yet another 2012 poll and as usual Governor Palin more then tripled the votes cast of the  number 2 candidate.  This poll had 3,357 votes cast with Sarah Palin at 49%, Mitt Romney 16%, Mike Huckabee 15%, Newt Gingrich 5% and Tim Pawlenty 5%.

As I monitored this poll I observed Romney and Huckabee supporters contacted first (Facebook, MySpace, Freerepublic, PAC) too vote & spread the word but Sarah Palin still stayed way ahead.  Soon after the world spread and Palin, Pawlenty & Newt supporters caught on and all the candidate’s supporters were voting & spreading the word.

The enthusiasm with Governor Palin’s supporters has little comparison and is some instances she is winning over the Obama youth population.  The primary reason is in this Obama economy those low on the totem poll, many young part-timers and newly hired, get fired first.  Those 18 to 30 have realized Obama is not only a disaster but a hardcore communist, racist and very very ashamed of our United States.  As they watch in horror Obama is handing over our sovereignty to the U.N. and he gets closer to his ultimate goal of UN Secretary General the young have realized Obama is a self-righteous ass and only Governor Palin has put him in his place.  Governor Palin has again and again demonstrated she is the only candidate with any balls and can easily put Obama on the defense and even confuse the moron.

As someone in the 18 to 30 group I have seen many young people now view Obama has a sad joke they wish would go away.  I have also enjoyed seeing the Obama Joker Socialism signs pop up all over South Florida, from West Palm Beach to Key West, most likely posted by the 18 to 30 population.  Another point I find interesting is some individuals claim Governor Palin is either to divisive or to damaged. What these small minded individuals do not realize is they are simply allowing the left (this is why they attack Gov Palin) to shape their opinion.   As we get closer to 2012 and Governor Palin’s support grows the left will get more desperate, Obama will continue to lose support and she will be the only clear choice to bring down the “Tele-prompter of the 57 United States”.  Of the five states with low unemployment, low taxes, a large budget surplus 2 governors and states come to mind.  Alaska and Texas have Governor’s that run/ran the state like an efficient, customer oriented and profit seeking business so I say Palin / Perry 2012!!

Federal Judge Ruling: “Palin for President 2012” Billboard Must Be Allowed

Friday, October 23, 2009 0 Responses
A ruling in Nevada has national implications and has paved the way for billboards "Palin for President 2012" to be erected along Highway 101 in San Carlos, California.

A federal judge has ordered the city to stop enforcing part of its sign ordinance, in response to a lawsuit that the law violates free speech rights.  The lawsuit was filed by Nevada resident Jeffrey Herson, who applied to erect a large sign on Highway 101 with the “Sarah Palin for President 2012” and a "No on Measure C, November 4, 2012" message on the other side.

Herson's suit alleges that in denying his application Sept. 4, the city essentially offered greater protection to commercial speech than political speech in violation of the First and 14th amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

The sign ordinance restricts the size of political signs to 32 square feet or smaller unless the city's architectural review committee approves a larger size. Herson proposed building a pole sign with a face 14 feet high and 48 feet across.  The ordinance also says political signs cannot be erected sooner than 60 days before an election and must be taken down seven days after the election.

The lawsuit, which also lists California-based East Bay Outdoor Inc. as a plaintiff, points out that other types of signs, including those indicating the location or direction of a place and "community activity signs," do not have size or time limitations.  "San Carlos treats political speech differently than other speech," said Alan Herson, the plaintiff's father and the attorney representing him in the case. "It has it backwards. Political speech is the most protected speech under the First Amendment."

In a temporary restraining order issued Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Marilyn Hall Patel said the lawsuit is likely to succeed on the claim that the city's ordinance "singles out political speech for special treatment and appears to place greater burdens on it than on commercial speech and non-political noncommercial speech."  Patel also said the city appears to grant government officials "unfettered discretion to determine who may or may not speak by failing to impose sufficient objective standards and by allowing for an unlimited time for the city's review."

The judge ordered the city to stop enforcing restrictions on the size or timing of political signs and to accept Jeffrey Herson's application.  He submitted a second application this week, and the city is reviewing it, said David Rosenbaum, an attorney for the city.

The Huffington Joke: Most Dangerous Climate Change Deniers (Saviors): Glenn Beck & Sarah Palin

Friday, October 23, 2009 0 Responses
A shout out to and a big thanks to Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Steve Doocy, Michael Steele and the rest of those that made The Huffington Joke’s list.  Without their hard work and persistence we would not only be praying to the “global warming” gods but have a 30% increase in all energy cost and most likely have 30% unemployment or higher (with 17% today this is not unrealistic).  I also finding interesting that The Huffington Joke dedicates more of their site to Governor Palin than Obama  or any other individual.  They must love her or fear her?

“Global warming” is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the American people and the world.  Thank God it is at least kept at bay and losing a little steam but it is far from defeated.  What is most comical is this season the NE United Sates and other parts of the world are seeing record cold weather but the crazy environmentalist are not deterred at all and have simple change their slogan to “climate change.”  The new religion (believe via blind faith and never question) of “climate change” could not be more anti-American and, of course, very very anti-Capitalism.

A recent poll shows the American people are waking up and the snake-oil sales man & millionaire (from global warming) Al Gore is being viewed more and more as what he is a con-artist.

Just 57% think there is solid evidence the world is getting warmer, down 20 points in just three years, a new poll says. And the share of people who believe pollution caused by humans is causing temperatures to rise has also taken a dip, even as the U.S. and world forums gear up for possible action against climate change.

In a poll of 1,500 adults by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, released Thursday, the number of people saying there is strong scientific evidence that the Earth has gotten warmer over the past few decades is down from 71% in April of last year and from 77% when Pew started asking the question in 2006. The number of people who see the situation as a serious problem also has declined.

The steepest drop has occurred during the past year, as Congress and the Obama administration have taken steps to control heat-trapping emissions for the first time and international negotiations for a new treaty to slow global warming have been under way. At the same time, there has been mounting scientific evidence of climate change — from melting ice caps to the world's oceans hitting the highest monthly recorded temperatures this summer.
